The Gates. As we are effectively a co-op here at The Limes, we depend on everyone doing their bit to keep third party costs down. One of our biggest expense areas is the gates to the development. These are being repainted on 24-25 August so will be locked open.
Recently we have experienced a number of instances where the gates have been unlocked by residents (usually this is where the SIM card drops out of service or the gates lock and need resetting). To avoid unnecessary call out charges and damage to the control unit if you need to unlock the gates please drive through and then lock them again using the key you’ve used to unlock them. His resets the system and keeps everything running smoothly. Where residents don’t do this, we have no idea whether there is a fault with the gate or not.
So far we have been able to hold the monthly management fee at £50 per month – for over 6 years in fact. We can only continue to do this with everyone’s help.
